The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is a four-year undergraduate program designed to provide a strong foundation in both theoretical knowledge and clinical dental practice. The curriculum covers Basic Dental Sciences including Dental Material Sciences, Oral Biology/Oral Anatomy, Oral Pathology, and Community Dentistry, along with Basic Medical Sciences such as Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pathology & Microbiology, and Pharmacology.

The program also emphasizes Clinical Dental & Medical Sciences, including Operative Dentistry, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Periodontology, Pedodontics, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine, General Surgery, and General Medicine. Students progress from pre-clinical training to supervised clinical practice, gaining the skills required for ethical, competent, and patient-centered dental care.
