A Comprehensive Training Session on Basic Life Support (BLS), Fire-Fighting Techniques, and Evacuation Procedures

A comprehensive training session on Basic Life Support (BLS), fire-fighting techniques, and evacuation procedures was recently conducted for the faculty and staff at Bhitai Dental and Medical College, Mirpurkhas, by the Sindh Rescue Team (1122). The session was attended by Deputy Managing Director Dr. Mushtaque Khan, Principal Dr. Arhama Surwaich, Associate Dean Dr. Ali Maqbool, Vice Principals Dr. Nazir and Dr. Naresh, as well as other faculty members and staff. The training was organized by the Dental Safety Team, including Dr. Mushtaque Khan, Dr. Javed Sultan, Dr. Aqsa Memon, and Dr. Sadia Abbasi, in coordination with Dr. Arhama, Dr. Ali Maqbool, and Dr. Faizan ur Rehman. The session aimed to enhance emergency preparedness and ensure that everyone is well-equipped to respond effectively in the event of an emergency. Participants were trained in essential life-saving skills, including CPR and first aid, and were introduced to fire-fighting methods to manage fire-related emergencies safely. Every individual performed CPR and participated in an evacuation drill. Additionally, evacuation procedures were thoroughly reviewed, ensuring that all attendees understand the importance of a timely and organized evacuation during a crisis.
